Why Moms?

When Founders, Mari Lourdes and Jon’ll Boyd, witnessed the horror of seeing another black man, George Floyd, being brutally killed in the streets and televised for the world to see as he cried out for his mother during his last breath, they knew it was time. Time to organize a cavalry of mothers with the goal of protecting and teaching our young children how to become courageous as anti-racists and compassionate as advocates for social justice.

They formed the organization, Moms Who Lead With Love, to bring moms of all races, cultures and backgrounds together to unite and have thought provoking and purposeful conversation and drive positive action as it relates to understanding cultural differences, uncovering and dismantling racial biases, and creating a better future for our children through education reform in our schools and school system.
